Paris is the biggest town in our part of Northeast Texas, and it reaches well past the city sewer lines. Homes on acreage toward Pat Mayse Lake to the north, out toward Blossom and Reno, and south toward the Sulphur River bottoms mostly run on septic.
Lamar County’s ground changes as you go. South of town you’re still on blackland clay, where aerobic spray systems are common. Toward the Red River the soils get sandier and conventional systems show up more. Either way, the tank still needs pumping on schedule.
Paris also has a full calendar of weddings, reunions and outdoor events, and that’s where our luxury restroom trailers come in.

Paris questions
Asked around Paris.
Do you rent restroom trailers for weddings in Paris?
Yes. Luxury restroom trailers are a core part of what we do. Call with the date, the venue and the guest count, and we’ll talk through delivery, setup and pickup.
Who permits septic systems in Lamar County?
In Texas, on-site sewage permits come from the local authorized agent, often the county, or from TCEQ where there isn’t one. Call the Lamar County offices in Paris to confirm who handles your address.
Is my system aerobic or conventional?
If you have sprinkler heads in the yard, a control panel with an alarm light on the house or a post, and two or three lids, it’s aerobic. If you have one or two lids and nothing above ground but a cleanout, it’s likely conventional.
